Harve Presnell was an American actor and singer who gained prominence for his role as "Leadville Johnny" in the Broadway musical The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1960). Transitioning from a successful career as a classical baritone, he won a Golden Globe Award for his performance in the film adaptation of the musical in 1964. Presnell's film career included notable appearances in Fargo (1996), Saving Private Ryan (1998), and Flags of Our Fathers (2006). He also had a significant presence in musical theatre, performing on Broadway and in various productions until the mid-1990s. In his later years, he appeared in Face/Off (1997) and made guest appearances on television series such as The Pretender and Dawson's Creek.
