Haruko Katō is a Japanese actress who made her film debut in Hanatsumi Nikki in 1939. She was signed by Toho, one of Japan's leading film production companies. Katō lent her voice to the character of Granmamare in Howl's Moving Castle (2004). Haruko Katō passed away on November 2, 2015.
