Harry Lennix is an American actor who portrayed J'onn J'onzz/Calvin Swanwick/Martian Manhunter in the DC Extended Universe films, including Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). He gained recognition for his role as Terrence "Dresser" Williams in The Five Heartbeats (1991) and as Boyd Langton in the series Dollhouse. Lennix also appeared as Harold Cooper in the NBC drama The Blacklist. His performance in the play Purpose earned him a nomination for the 2025 Tony Award for Best Actor. He has worked on State of Play (2009).
