Harry Gilby is an English actor who made his feature film debut as a young J. R. R. Tolkien in Tolkien (2019). He began his acting career in 2016 with a role as a Village Lad in the series Jericho. In 2017, he portrayed Charlie Lyndsay in Just Charlie, a performance that earned him a nomination for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards. He has appeared in the short film Evie (2018) and played Aethelstan in the final season of The Last Kingdom (2022) and its film sequel Seven Kings Must Die (2023). Gilby also featured as Toby Williams in three episodes of Casualty.
