Happy Ranajit is a graduate of the National School of Drama who won the best actor award at the Mahindra Theatre Awards in 2010 for his role in "Roop Aroop." He has portrayed significant characters such as Aurangzeb in "Aurangzeb" and Krishna in "Maharathi." Ranajit won the best actor award at the GATS Theatre Festival in Beijing for his performance in "Richard III."
