Hans Meyer is a South African actor who portrayed Hauptmann Franz Ulmann in the television series Colditz (1972–1974). He began his career as a model before transitioning to acting, appearing in a Puschkin Vodka advertisement that earned him the nickname 'Frank S. Thorn.' His film credits include La grande vadrouille (1966), The Devil's Garden (1968), and the Western Cannon for Cordoba (1970). Meyer also had a role in Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon (1975). In addition to his film work, he appeared in the mini-series Holocaust (1978) and the TV movie The Girlfriend from Childhood (1981). He is featured in the film Red Sonja (1985).
