Hanne Steen

Hanne Steen is an American actress who appeared in the film Measure for Measure (2006). She also featured in Hamlet (2007) and Dread (2009), along with short films such as The Monument (2008) and Freakers (2010). Steen had roles in several BBC series, including My Family (2000-2011) and Ideal (2005-2011). After retiring from acting, she relocated to Los Angeles and pursued a career as a writer, teacher, musician, and documentary filmmaker. Steen was a 2014 PEN Emerging Voices Fellow and has written for various publications, including the New York Times Magazine and Vanity Fair. She co-founded the multimedia platform Herclayheart.
