Hank Azaria is an American actor and producer who has voiced numerous characters in the animated series The Simpsons since 1989, including Moe Szyslak and Chief Wiggum. He gained prominence through live-action films such as Quiz Show (1994), The Birdcage (1996), and Godzilla (1998). Azaria's filmography includes roles in The Smurfs (2011) and its sequel The Smurfs 2 (2013), as well as Lovelace (2013) and The Idol (2023). His work on The Simpsons has earned him four Primetime Emmy Awards, and he also received a Screen Actors Guild Award for The Birdcage. Azaria's Broadway debut was in Spamalot, where he played Lancelot and earned a Tony Award nomination.
