Han Geng is a Chinese Mandopop singer and actor who gained prominence as a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior, which debuted in 2005. He later led the subgroup Super Junior-M starting in 2008. After leaving SM Entertainment in 2011, he focused on a solo career in China. In addition to his musical achievements, Han was a torchbearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and served as an ambassador for the 2010 Shanghai Expo and the 2010 Asian Games. He appeared in the film The Taking of Tiger Mountain in 2014. Han won the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards' "Best Worldwide Act".
