Hale Appleman is an American actor who made his film debut in Beautiful Ohio. He played Tobey Cobb in the 2007 film Teeth. Appleman portrayed cartoonist Judd Winick in the 2008 movie Pedro, which tells the story of AIDS educator Pedro Zamora. His stage work includes performances in the revival of David Rabe's Streamers at the Roundabout Theater Company and Clifford Odets' Paradise Lost at the American Repertory Theater. He was part of the New York premiere of Sarah Ruhl's Passion Play, playing the role of Jesus.
