Guy Ritchie is an English film director, producer, and screenwriter who made his feature-length directorial debut with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998. His second film, Snatch (2000), achieved both critical and commercial success. Ritchie directed the Sherlock Holmes films starring Robert Downey Jr., including Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011). His other notable works include the live-action adaptation of Aladdin (2019), which grossed over $1 billion, and the crime comedy The Gentlemen (2019). Ritchie has collaborated frequently with Jason Statham, including in Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023).
