Guy Pearce is an Australian actor and musician who gained international fame for his role as Ed Exley in L.A. Confidential (1997). He began his career on television, portraying Mike Young in the series Neighbours from 1986 to 1989. Pearce's notable film credits include Memento (2000), The King's Speech (2010), and Lawless (2012). He also appeared in The Time Machine (2002), Prometheus (2012), and Iron Man 3 (2013). For his performance in The Brutalist (2024), he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Pearce won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce (2011).
