Grażyna Szapołowska is a Polish actress who starred in A Short Film About Love (1988) directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski. She began her career at the Wroclaw Theatre of Pantomime after completing her baccalauréat and graduated from The Theatre Art School in Warsaw in 1977. Szapołowska was part of the National Theatre's theatrical company in Warsaw from 1977 to 1984. Her filmography includes notable works such as Bez końca and the sixth episode of Dekalog. She also appeared in 365 Days (2020). Szapołowska played a significant role in suggesting an alternative ending for A Short Film About Love.
