Golshifteh Farahani is an Iranian actress who made history as the first Iranian to star in a major Hollywood film with her role in Body of Lies (2008). She began her acting journey in theater at a young age and has appeared in over 40 films, many of which have been recognized at international festivals. Notable works include Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), and Extraction (2020). Farahani also featured in Paterson (2016) directed by Jim Jarmusch and provided her voice for My Father's Dragon (2022). She has collaborated with esteemed directors, including Ridley Scott and Jim Jarmusch.
