Goldie Hawn is an American actress who won an Oscar for her supporting role in Cactus Flower (1969). She began her career as a dancer before gaining fame on the television show Laugh-In in the late 1960s. Hawn starred in the successful comedy Private Benjamin (1980), which marked her transition to leading lady in Hollywood. Her notable films include Shampoo (1975), Overboard (1987), and The First Wives Club (1996). She also appeared in Death Becomes Her (1992) and The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020). Goldie Hawn has collaborated with actor Kurt Russell for many years and is the mother of actress Kate Hudson.
