Go Hyun-jung is a South Korean actress who debuted as a Miss Korea runner-up in 1989. She gained prominence for her role in the drama Sandglass. After a hiatus following her marriage in 1995, she returned to acting in 2003 and quickly regained her status as a leading actress. Go became the highest-paid actress on television with her performances in Queen Seondeok and Daemul. She also starred in the film Return in 2018.
