Gizem Erdogan is a Swedish actor of Turkish descent who made her feature film debut in Svenskjävel (2015). She trained at the theater school in Malmö from 2012 to 2015 and has performed at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. Erdogan is a member of the permanent ensemble at Göteborg Stadsteater, where she portrayed Alice in Alice in Wonderland. Her performance in Caliphate (2020) earned her the Actress of the Year award in a TV Production at the Kristallen Awards 2020. She was also nominated for Actress of the Year at the Kristallen Awards in 2021 for her role in The Thin Blue Line.
