Gizel Jiménez is an American actress and singer who made her film debut in the musical Tick, Tick... Boom! (2021). Raised in New York and later in Florida, she graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from the New World School of the Arts. Her professional career began with a Broadway tour, where she played Rosalia in West Side Story. Jiménez has performed in various productions, including In the Heights at Walnut Street Theatre in 2013 and Alice by Heart in 2018. She received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her role in Miss You Like Hell. In addition to her stage work, she appeared in the television series Dexter: New Blood as Tess in 2022.
