Ghassan Massoud is a Syrian actor and filmmaker who portrayed Saladin in the film Kingdom of Heaven (2005). His notable works include Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and The Legend of Tomiris (2019). Massoud has also written and directed the play Diplomasiyyoun, and has acted in the Syrian series The Chant of Rain and MBC's Omar. He teaches drama at the Damascus Music and Drama School and the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts.
