Geri Halliwell-Horner is an English singer, songwriter, television personality, author, and actress who gained prominence as Ginger Spice in the pop group the Spice Girls. The group is recognized as the best-selling female group in history, having sold over 100 million records globally. Halliwell's Union Jack dress from the 1997 Brit Awards became a lasting symbol of the era. After departing from the Spice Girls in 1998 due to exhaustion and creative differences, she later rejoined for a greatest hits album in 2007 and participated in two concert tours.
