Gérard Watkins is an English-French actor, playwright, director, and songwriter who has performed in over forty stage productions in Paris. He played Patrice Saint Clair in the 2009 film Taken, where he portrayed a key antagonist involved in a sex trafficking operation. Watkins has worked with notable directors in both theatre and film, including Julie Lopez Curval and Julian Schnabel. His stage performances include roles such as Ian in Sarah Kane's Blasted and Edmond in King Lear. Since 1994, he has directed his own theatre company, the Perdita Ensemble, staging numerous original plays including The Secret Capital and Lost.
