Ger Ryan is an Irish actress who starred as Margie McEvoy in the BBC series The Street (2006-2009). She has an extensive career in film, television, and theatre, with notable credits including Queer as Folk, The War of the Buttons, and Intermission. Ryan has received multiple nominations for her performances, including two Royal Television Society Award nominations and three IFTA nominations for Amongst Women, Intermission, and The Return. She won an IFTA for her role in the docu-drama Stardust (2007) and was honored with a Belfast Telegraph EMA Award for A Place with the Pigs. In addition, she appeared in Love, Rosie (2014).
