George Raft was an American film actor known for his portrayals of gangsters in crime dramas during the 1930s and 1940s. He gained prominence with performances in films such as Scarface (1932), Each Dawn I Die (1939), and Some Like It Hot (1959). Raft also displayed his dancing skills in Bolero (1934) and played a truck driver in They Drive by Night (1940). His later work includes a role in Casino Royale (1967).
