George O'Hanlon was an American actor and comedian who voiced George Jetson in Hanna-Barbera's animated series The Jetsons, which premiered in 1962. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Joe McDoakes in a series of live-action short films produced by Warner Bros. from 1942 to 1956. O'Hanlon also contributed as a writer and director during his career. His work in animation continued with the 1985 revival of The Jetsons.
