George MacKay is an English actor who began his career in the film Peter Pan (2003). He gained prominence for his leading role in the war drama 1917 (2019) and starred in Private Peaceful (2012), How I Live Now (2013), and Marrowbone (2017). MacKay received a BAFTA Scotland Award for his performance in For Those in Peril (2013) and won a British Independent Film Award for Femme (2023).
