George DiCenzo was an American actor who portrayed Sam Baines, Marty's grandfather, in Back to the Future (1985). With a career spanning over three decades, he accumulated a diverse portfolio of work in film, television, stage, and commercials. DiCenzo also appeared in Sing (1989) and had a minor role in The Exorcist III. He served as an associate producer for Dark Shadows. DiCenzo passed away on August 9, 2010, due to sepsis.
