George Buck Flower was an American actor and filmmaker who appeared in John Carpenter's films throughout the 1980s. He was often cast in roles depicting drunks or homeless characters due to his distinctive gruff appearance. Flower's notable works include a role in 'Starman' (1984) and contributions as a writer and producer in various projects. He was also the father of actress and costume designer Verkina Flower. Flower passed away from cancer in 2004.
