Gene Gallerano
Gene Gallerano is an Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Award-winning producer, filmmaker, and actor who began his career with a small role in Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket. His work encompasses a variety of genres, including both narrative and documentary films that have been presented globally, from Anchorage to Berlin. Gallerano is the writer, director, and actor of The Yeti, a character-driven monster movie featuring a cast that includes Brittany Allen and Corbin Bernsen. He also produced the Grammy-winning documentary American Symphony, which chronicles the lives of musician Jon Batiste and writer Suleika Jaouad, and served as a co-producer on the limited series The Savant, starring Jessica Chastain. His work in documentary filmmaking includes the Emmy-winning The First Wave, which captured the COVID-19 pandemic's impact in real time.
