Geetha is an Indian actress who debuted in the Tamil film Bairavi, where she played the role of Rajinikanth's sister. She has appeared in over 200 films across various South Indian languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, she was regarded as one of the most beautiful leading ladies in South India. Her notable works include Kaliyugam (1988), Thalapathi (1991), and Goutham Nanda (2017). After a brief hiatus following her marriage in 1997, she returned to acting, often taking on the role of the hero's mother in films like Unakkum Enakkum and Santhosh Subramaniam.
