Gavan O'Herlihy was an Irish actor who played Chuck Cunningham in the early episodes of Happy Days (1974). He developed a diverse career in film, television, and stage, appearing in productions such as Never Say Never Again (1983), Superman III (1983), and Death Wish 3 (1987). O'Herlihy also featured in the miniseries Lonesome Dove (1989) and had roles in Twin Peaks and Star Trek: Voyager.
