Gaspard Ulliel was a French actor who made his feature film debut in Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001). He gained prominence for his role as the young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising (2007) and portrayed fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic Saint Laurent (2014). Ulliel received critical acclaim for his performance as a terminally ill playwright in It's Only the End of the World (2016), winning the César Award for Best Actor in 2017. His other notable works include A Very Long Engagement (2004), Paris, je t'aime (2006), and the miniseries Twice Upon a Time (2019). He also lent his voice to Jack Frost in the French version of Rise of the Guardians (2012). Ulliel was honored as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in France in 2015.
