Gary Stretch is a British actor who portrayed the character "Sonny" in the cult thriller Dead Man's Shoes (2004). He began his career as a boxer and male model before transitioning to film. Stretch appeared in Oliver Stone's historical epic Alexander (2004) and starred in the UK film Freebird (2008), which depicted the journey of three bikers. He also featured in The King Maker (2005). In recognition of his performance in Dead Man's Shoes, Stretch received a nomination for a British Independent Film Award.
