Gary Morton was a Jewish American stand-up comedian who performed primarily in the Borscht Belt resorts of upstate New York. He was married to actress Lucille Ball, whom he met in 1960, and they wed in 1961. Morton appeared in the film Postcards from the Edge (1990). His life was marked by his significant relationship with Ball, and he signed a prenuptial agreement to address public speculation about his intentions. Morton passed away in 1999.
