Gary Busey is an American actor who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in The Buddy Holly Story (1978). He has appeared in more than 120 films, including notable roles in Lethal Weapon (1987) and Soldier (1998). Busey also made regular appearances on television shows such as Gunsmoke, Walker, Texas Ranger, Law & Order, and Entourage. Busey was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in The Buddy Holly Story.
