Gael García Bernal is a Mexican actor and filmmaker who was nominated for a BAFTA Award for his performance as Che Guevara in The Motorcycle Diaries (2004). He gained recognition through his roles in Amores perros (2000), Y tu mamá también (2001), and Bad Education (2004). García Bernal has appeared in notable films such as Coco (2017), Old (2021), and Wasp Network (2020). He also starred in the television series Mozart in the Jungle (2014–2018), winning a Golden Globe Award for his role. In 2016, he was named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. His production company, Canana Films, was co-founded with Diego Luna.
