Franklyn Ajaye is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He began his career in film with a role in the 1976 ensemble comedy Car Wash and later appeared in Sam Peckinpah's Convoy (1978). Ajaye has released a series of comedy albums starting in 1973. His film credits include a role in The 'Burbs (1989). Ajaye's distinctive delivery has earned him the nickname 'The Jazz Comedian.'
