Frank Giering is a German actor who played Floyd in Gigantic (1999). He began his acting journey with stage experience at the Maxim-Gorki Theatre in Magdeburg before studying at the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Potsdam Babelsberg. Giering's film career took off after being cast by Michael Haneke in The Castle (1997) and Funny Games (1997), where he portrayed a sadistic murderer. He also appeared in Anatomy 2 (2003). His career was cut short when he passed away in 2010 due to multiple organ failure.
