Francesca Hayward is a Kenyan-born English ballet dancer and actress who played Victoria in Cats (2019). She is a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden in London. Hayward began her ballet training at the age of three after being inspired by a video of The Nutcracker. She attended the Royal Ballet School, progressing from Junior Associate to the Upper School, although an injury prevented her official graduation. Hayward's role in Cats marked her film debut.
