Fran Drescher is an American actress who made her film debut in Saturday Night Fever (1977). She gained prominence in the 1980s with comedic roles in films such as Gorp (1980), The Hollywood Knights (1980), and This Is Spinal Tap (1984). Drescher portrayed Fran Fine in the sitcom The Nanny (1993–1999), earning nominations for two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In the 2000s, she continued her success in television with Living with Fran and Happily Divorced. Since 2012, she has lent her voice to the character Eunice in the Hotel Transylvania animated series, including Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018).
