Forrest Griffin is a retired American mixed martial artist who won the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. He gained fame after defeating Stephan Bonnar in the tournament finals, a match often credited with propelling the UFC's popularity. Griffin was the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2013. In addition to his fighting career, he serves as the Vice President of Athlete Development at the UFC Performance Institute. He appeared in the film Locked Down (2010).
