Flying Lotus is an American filmmaker and musician who directed the sci-fi horror film Ash (2025). He has released seven albums, including 1983 (2006) and You're Dead! (2014). He founded the record label Brainfeeder and produced music for Adult Swim. He created the rap mixtape Duality (2012) under his Captain Murphy persona and curated FlyLo FM in Grand Theft Auto V (2013).
