Fernanda Torres is a Brazilian actress who won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Festival for her role in "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar" (1986). She is the daughter of renowned actress Fernanda Montenegro and actor Fernando Torres. In addition to acting, Torres has also worked as a writer and screenwriter, penning her first script for "O Redentor" (2004). She is married to director Andrucha Waddington, with whom she has two sons, Joaquim and Antônio, and is a stepmother to João and Pedro. Her performance in "I'm Still Here" (2024) earned her a Golden Globe and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
