Fergal Devitt is an Irish professional wrestler who became the inaugural WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2016. He began his wrestling career in 2001 and gained prominence in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as Prince Devitt, where he secured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship three times and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship six times. Devitt has also competed in various promotions, including NWA UK Hammerlock and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and co-founded NWA Ireland. After joining WWE, he achieved significant milestones, including a record 292-day reign as NXT Champion and becoming a Grand Slam Champion on September 2, 2023, at Payback. He appeared in Elimination Chamber (2026).
