Faye Dunaway is a European-American actress who gained prominence with her role as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie and Clyde (1967). She made her film debut in The Happening the same year and has since starred in numerous significant films, including The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), Chinatown (1974), and Network (1976), for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. Dunaway's career features a blend of major studio productions and independent films, with notable performances in Mommie Dearest (1981) and Barfly (1987). She has also received three Golden Globes and a British Academy Film Award. Dunaway was awarded the Sarah Siddons Award for her performance in Master Class (1996).
