Fab 5 Freddy is an American hip hop historian and pioneer who hosted the first hip-hop music video show on television, "Yo! MTV Raps". He was a prominent figure in New York City's hip hop scene during the 1970s and early 1980s and is a former graffiti artist. He appeared in the film "Rachel Getting Married" (2008).
