Ewen Bremner is a Scottish character actor who portrayed Daniel "Spud" Murphy in Trainspotting (1996) and its sequel T2 Trainspotting (2017). He began his career with a notable role as a Glasgow schoolboy in Heavenly Pursuits (1986) and later played Julien in Julien Donkey-Boy. Bremner has appeared in various significant films, including Pearl Harbor (2001), Black Hawk Down (2001), and Snowpiercer (2013). He also featured in AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014). In addition to acting, he produced the short film No Song to Sing in 2017.
