Eugene Levy is a Canadian actor who starred as Noah Levenstein in all seven films of the American Pie franchise. He gained prominence through his role in the Canadian television series SCTV from 1976 to 1984. A frequent collaborator with Christopher Guest, Levy co-wrote and appeared in films such as Waiting for Guffman (1996) and A Mighty Wind (2003), for which he won a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media. He also received multiple Primetime Emmy Awards, including one for his performance in Schitt's Creek (2015-2020), a series he co-created with his son. Levy was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2011.
