Eriq Ebouaney is a French actor who made his film debut in Chacun cherche son chat (1996). He gained significant recognition for his role as Patrice Lumumba in the 2000 film Lumumba. Other notable performances include his portrayal of 'Blacktie' in Brian De Palma's Femme Fatale (2002) and 'Ice' in Transporter 3 (2008), where he starred alongside Jason Statham. Ebouaney also appeared in the award-winning Kingdom of Heaven (2005) and the 2025 Indian-Malayalam film L2: Empuraan, playing the character Kabuga. He transitioned to acting at the age of 30 after initially pursuing a career in business.
