Eric McCormack is a Canadian American actor who made his feature film debut in The Lost World (1992). He gained widespread fame for his role as Will Truman in the sitcom Will & Grace, which began airing in 1998 and earned him an Emmy Award in 2001 for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. McCormack has appeared in various television series, including Ally McBeal and Trust Me, and made his Broadway debut in The Music Man in 2001. He also starred in the film The Sisters (2005) and took part in the mini-series The Andromeda Strain (2008). His work includes a role in Barricade (2012).
