Eric Bana is an Australian actor who gained critical acclaim for his role in the biographical crime film Chopper (2000). He began his career in the sketch-comedy series Full Frontal and rose to prominence with his performance in the comedy-drama The Castle (1997). Bana's Hollywood breakthrough came with his portrayal of Bruce Banner in Hulk (2003) and as Hector in the war epic Troy (2004). He also starred in the historical thriller Munich (2005) and the science-fiction film Star Trek (2009). His diverse filmography includes roles in Black Hawk Down (2001), The Time Traveler's Wife (2009), and The Finest Hours (2016). Bana was appointed Member of the Order of Australia in 2019.
